The inaugural California Bridge Building Competition will be held at California State University, Sacramento. Students will present a power-point presentation of their designed bridges to a panel of judges from various professional backgrounds. Three groups will be chosen to compete from each grade range, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12, and competitors will receive cash prizes. 

This event will also feature a career fair as well as various fun science and engineering exercises. All students and teachers are encouraged to attend! 

Mentor day will consist of Innovate for Impact students presenting their improvements to volunteer mentors from the Professional Engineers in California Government. Students will receive guidance on how to improve their designs which will be donated to the Folsom City Zoo Sanctuary.
